Driveway Cleaning and Repair
IF YOUR DRIVEWAY IS BLOCK PAVING CLICK HERE!
Pattern Imprinted Concrete is one of the most hard wearing driveway or patio surfaces available and looks fantastic when it is newly installed.
Unfortunately it is not completely maintenance free. Although the protective sealer makes the area look shiny and uniform, it’s main purpose is to protect the concrete structure from deterioration. Over time, the protective sealer on the surface wears away, exposing the concrete structure to the harmful weather conditions. The exposed surface gradually starts to crumble and break away. The surface will also start to suffer from colour distortion.
The good news is that Sterling Cleaning & Maintenance can repair or maintain your Pattern Imprinted Concrete to keep it looking as good as new. Whether it has lost its colour and shine or has started to crumble, give us a call and we will advise on the best method to return it to its former glory.

How we achieve these results
Kill Weeds - we apply a high strength weed-killer to P I C (Pattern Imprinted Concrete) 5-8 days before we are due to clean the area. This allows the chemical to penetrate into the roots of any weeds and completely kill them.
Clean - we use an industrial pressure washer with a high flow rate, combined with various high pressure attachments to ensure the removal of all weeds, algae, dirt and grime from the surface of the concrete. After cleaning the PIC we rinse down the entire area with clean water, including any areas that have been affected by over-spray, such as walls and fences. (We also ensure that any windows that have been affected with dirty water are properly cleaned.
Repair - repairs can now be carried out to any affected areas of the surface and structure before applying the protective sealant.
Re-Tint - the first coating of sealer can now incorporate a colour tint if required. The tint can help make the original colour more uniform or a different colour can change the entire area for a completely new look
Protect - two coats of sealer are required to fully protect the surface of the pattern imprinted concrete with a drying period in between coats. If a tinted coat has already been applied, then a final coat of clear sealer is applier to the entire area. If no tinting is required then two coats of sealer are applied. An anti-slip finish can also be applied during this stage if required.
Your PIC (Pattern Imprinted Concrete) will now look as good as when it was first installed!
